Vivo continues to add a new phone in the mid-range segment, with a list price of VND 7 million and a design “similar to” OPPO Reno8 T 5G.
Vivo has just launched a new phone in the Y series called vivo Y100. The phone comes with a 6.38-inch AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The display has a maximum brightness of up to 1300 nits and has DCI-P3 color coverage.
The back of the two versions of vivo Y100 in Pacific Blue and Twilight Gold colors is equipped with color-changing Fluorite AG glass that allows the phone to change color when sunlight hits it. It also has 2 circular modules on the back that house a 64MP main camera with OIS, a 2MP macro camera, and a 2MP depth sensor. The design of 2 large circular camera modules arranged vertically makes many people think of the newly launched OPPO Reno8 T 5G.
MediaTek’s Dimensity 900 chip is backed by 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage expandable via a microSD card slot. The phone runs FuntouchOS 13 user interface based on Android 13 operating system. It also has a 4500mAh battery with 44WW fast charging support. Other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, IP54 rating, and dual SIM slots.
Vivo Y100 has 3 color options: Pacific Blue, Twilight Gold and Metal Black. The 8GB/128GB version starts at INR 24,999 (about VND 7.1 million), you can order it early from vivo’s website from today.
