Recently, the World Surf League (WSL) announced the Apple Watch as its official wearable device. This is the first time the Apple Watch has been set up by WSL to be used as official competition device in a sports environment.

During the 2023 Championships, WSL athletes will use the WSL Surfer app on their Apple Watch Series 8 and Apple Watch Ultra to receive notifications while they’re surfing in the competition.
