The Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro duo announced for the Chinese market in December are preparing for a global launch.
Last December, Xiaomi launched its latest high-end smartphone duo, Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro. However, the 2 new phones have only been launched in China and many are still waiting for it to be released globally. Recently, these two products are starting to be certified in countries other than China.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro has been detected both in the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) database as well as Thailand’s NBTC with the number 2210132G. Xiaomi 13 has also been certified by NBTC with the number 2211133G.
Based on these certifications, it seems that the standard Xiaomi 13 will not launch in India with its Pro sibling. It’s a strange strategy on the part of Xiaomi, but at the moment it’s all speculation.
If the global version still has the same specifications as the Chinese version, the Xiaomi 13 will come with a 6.36-inch OLED screen with 1080 x 2400 resolution that supports 120Hz refresh rate. The phone is also powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, two RAM options are 8GB and 12GB, three storage options are 128GB. 256GB and 512GB.
The phone is equipped with a set of 3 rear cameras including a 50MP main camera with OIS, a 12MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and 3.2x 10MP optical zoom. On the front, it also has a 32MP selfie camera that supports photography and video calling. Xiaomi 13 also has a 4500 mAh battery that supports 67W wired charging, 50W wireless charging and 10W wireless reverse charging.
Xiaomi 13 Pro also has some similar specifications, except for a 6.73-inch screen with 1440 x 3200 resolution, 4820 mAh battery with 120W wired charging. The phone also has a completely different camera setup with a 50.3MP main camera with OIS, a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera with autofocus for macro, and a 3.2x 50MP optical zoom lens.
