Xiaomi 13 and Xiaomi 13 Pro were launched last December in China and will soon be scheduled for a global launch.
Xiaomi 13 Pro was announced in China in December and will continue to launch globally on February 26. Today, the Indian branch of Xiaomi announced that the 13 Pro will make its global debut at Mobile World Congress MWC.
The press release issued by the brand does not mention Xiaomi 13 but a tweet by Lei Jun says: “Xiaomi 13 series launch event taking place on February 26!”. The use of the word “product line” suggests that the standard version could also launch globally alongside the Pro version on February 26.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset and comes with up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage. It runs MIUI 14 based on Android 13 out of the box and has a large 6.73-inch OLED LTPO display with QHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate and protected by Gorilla Glass. Glass Victor.
The display has HDR10+ support, Dolby Vision audio, and an in-display fingerprint sensor for security. It also has a punch-hole 32MP selfie camera in the center of the screen.
On the back, Xiaomi 13 Pro is equipped with a 3-camera cluster including a 50.3MP main camera (with OIS), a 50MP telephoto camera and a 50MP super wide-angle camera. The camera also uses Leica-branded lenses.
The Xiaomi 13 Pro is also powered by a 4820 mAh battery with support for 120W wireless charging and 50W wired charging. It also supports 10W reverse wireless charging.
The Xiaomi 13 also has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip but comes with a smaller, lower resolution display, a smaller battery with slower wired charging support, and a different camera setup.
